The Role
Learning Facilitator
- Optimizing learning through structured/designed interventions i.e. training
program,
in controlled learning environments i.e. learning room, with the focus on the learner(s)
and not the intervention
The learning facilitator is responsible for ensuring that the
learning environment and the manner of presentation assist the learners in their learning.
This involves:
- establishing the climate for learning
- presenting material clearly
- responding to learner concerns, and
- providing ways for the learners to evaluate their progress
towards achieving the learning objectives.

Coaching & Feedback
Coaching & Feedback - How to assist
individuals or a team in their development as they work towards achieving agreed
outcomes. It involves giving guidance and
direction, and working with them on how they
can go about achieving a certain objective (s) or developing a skill (s).
