Role
Group Process Facilitator -
Optimising the performance of a group or team on an ongoing basis using appropriate
process interventions to achieve the group or teams agreed objectives -

The role of the Group Process Facilitator includes:
- Contracting to work with a system on an on-going basis.
- Facilitating the achievement of the systems objectives through
the use of appropriate task processes i.e. nominal group technique, and relationship
processes i.e. start stop continue etc. The focus is one of non-directive intervening.

Competency Overview
Group Process Facilitation draws on competencies from Structured Process,
Learning and Transformational Facilitation. The difference lies in the level of complexity of
the application. Please refer to the appropriate competency guidelines for further
information.
The following is an example of the competencies which could
form the basis for a Group Process Facilitator development program.
